Willow Harpole was born in Louisville, KY and began her performance career as a cellist at age nine. She played tenors for six years at Ballard High School and Morehead State University, where she also participated in collegiate-level percussion, wind, and choral ensembles. Her independent experience includes playing marimba for Triple Crown Indoor 2022, as well as bass drum at Cincinnati Tradition 2022, ConneXus 2023-2025, and the Madison Scouts 2024.

Most recently, Willow has taught bass drum at ConneXus and Lee's Summit High School, as well as a myriad of other high schools throughout Kentucky, Missouri, and Indiana. She left Lexington, Kentucky for Kansas City in 2025 and is pursuing a degree in nursing while working as a nursing assistant at NKC Health.
